I think that teens today are sort of thrust into the real world a lot more quickly than teens have been in the past. We are learning more earlier in school, we have access to so much information about what is going on in the world via the internet and technology, and we are expected to become citizens the contribute something to society almost as soon as we are considered "and adult". But at the same time i think this gives teens a real opportunity to make their lives what they want it to be. there are so many careers and ways to live your life successfully and happily these days.
